Welcome to the Department of Media, Culture and Communication !
Media does not exist in vacuum, it is always inter-related with society, cultural, politics and economics. It surrounds us, records and perhaps shapes history, communicates ideas and generates meanings.
Studying media in Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia provides you an experience to discover the possibilities of media influence and representations through text, audio and visuals. It also helps you to make sense of the changes occurring around us.
The Department of Media, Culture and Communication offers Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Borneo Studies. Our courses include documentary and music video making, scriptwriting, voice-over, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator and many more.
