Dean's Message
Welcome to School of Engineering and Science!
Engineering and Science is one of the Schools at Curtin Sarawak with a current population of around 900 students both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our Bachelor of Engineering (honours) programs are accredited by professional bodies including Board of Engineers Malaysia, Engineers Australia and Institution of Chemical Engineers, UK. Similarly, our Bachelor of Science programs in Applied Geology and Computer Science are well nationally and internationally. At postgraduate level, we offer Master of Philosophy and PhD by research.
The School is committed to excellence and innovation in teaching and research. We pride ourselves on our teaching approaches that provide students with learning environment to pursue their excellence and to achieve Curtin’s graduate attributes. In research, our staff are actively involved in the innovation of science and technology as a contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge and community.
I believe that the School is a conducive-place for students to study engineering and science disciplines, and for staff to work as, and develop on, their academic careers.
