The research at Curtin Sarawak has multiple tasks and focused on important topics related to the recent and new technology.
The Four sections of Electrical and Computer Engineering have both separate and combined areas of research. The staff in Curtin,
Sarawak has established their research reputations in those areas shown below:
Staff strives to select problems that are both theoretically challenging and industrially important. Staff has been involved in a number
of research programs that across different research groups. A leader is designated for each research group to initiate innovative
research activities that attract and secure funding from external sources. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students have been
actively involved in the Staff’s research activities. Undergraduate students have conducted their final year projects by doing research on particular topics, and producing an extensive research report at the end of their project. Staffs have many publication papers in both international journals and conferences. They have granted projects from Curtin research fund, and from Malaysian government fund, in which the projects are simulated and can be easily implemented.
