Desktop Notice (staff & student) NOTICE SUBMISSION
Type of Notice
- Announcement of activities (eg. Seminars & Campaigns)
- No notice of individual interest is allowed
Prepare the Notice
- Prepare/design your notice in MS PowerPoint.
- Page Setup properties are:
Width: 10 Inches
Height: 7.5 Inches
Orientation - Slides: Landscape
- Convert the PowerPoint file to JPEG
- In PowerPoint, go to "File" -> "Save As"
- At the "Save as type", select "JPEG File Interchange Format (*.jpg)"
- Click Save
- When you see the prompt "Do you want to export every slide in the presentation? To export only the current slide, click No.", click on the button "No"
- Check the resolution & file size of your notice
- Resolution: 720 x 540
- File size: less than 200KB
Get approval
- Provide information of the notice headline, start date, expiry date & target group (either student only or staff only or both student & staff).
- Send your notice to HOD (Head of Department) for approval; this is to ensure accountability of the information to be distributed.
- HOD/Admin Assistant (AA) to email the approved notice to it.helpdesk@curtin.edu.my
