Attendance at Orientation by new-to-Curtin students is necessary and expected.
Attending Orientation Week (O Week) will ensure that you are well equipped to commence studying.
Orientation activities are provided to offer you an introduction to your course and the
teaching staff and to help you discover your University’s services and facilities.
At enrolment you will receive;
- "The Book ‘08" - this is a one-stop-shop for all your administration,
services, facilities and university life information - read it!

All Students will receive a Welcome Pack containing the above Guide and
orientation flyer on Registration Day.
If you miss your briefing a Welcome Pack can be picked up from Student Services
at the ground floor of Building GP 401.

The University’s academic information is presented by the respective schools during
the 'School Session' on day three.
