Transfer to Perth Campus

 

The International Office provides FREE assistance and ONE-STOP service to students who wish to transfer and continue studies

at Perth Campus. Students are guided through the application, acceptance and Student Visa application processes. A Pre-departure

Briefing will also be conducted to provide relevant information to students.

 

To apply for the transfer, a student who falls under Assessment Level 1 (determined by Australian Immigration), needs to follow the

steps as below:

 

1. Obtain International Application for Admission Form from International Office at GP 401, Ground Floor. Complete the form and return     together with:

  • -  Photocopy of passport (page which contains personal data)
  • -  Photocopy of all Curtin Academic Transcripts
  • -  Photocopy of Enrolment Advice Slip for current semester
  • -  Approval to Transfer Letter (The International Office at Perth Campus will NOT process any application unless such letter is attached)

    NOTE :
    Last date to submit application (to join February intake) : 31st October in earlier year
    Last date to submit application (to join July intake) : 31st March of the same year

     

    2. Successful applicants will receive an Offer Pack from Perth Campus through International Office (Students will be contacted via phone

        or email to collect the Offer Packs from International Office). The Offer Pack includes:

  1. -  Letter of Offer (Authority to Enrol)
  2. -  Invoice (Acceptance of Offer)
  3. -  Pre-departure Guide for International Students
  4. -  Curtin Housing Services Information
  5. -  OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover) Information

 

3. Students to complete and sign Invoice (Acceptance of Offer), return to International Office with a bankdraft payable to Curtin University of     Technology for the amount of indicative tuition fee AND OSHC fee.

     

4. A eCoE (Confirmation of Enrolment) will be sent to student's email, which will enable the student to apply for a Student Visa.

 

5. The International Office will assist the student in submitting on-line Student Visa Application to DIMIA (Department of Immigration and     Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs). Payment of Student Visa fee to DIMIA can be made by student's own credit card or cash

    payment to Accounts Department.

 

6. The outcome of Student Visa application will normally reach the student's email within a month. Student needs to print out this "Virtual     Visa" and bring along with their passport to Perth. At this point, the student should have his/her flight ticket confirmed.

 

7. The student MUST complete a Transfer / Withdrawal Form at Student Services Department, GP401, Ground Floor.

 

8. A pre-departure briefing will be conducted by International Office to provide relevant information to students.
