Exemptions from Compulsory Subjects

 

National Language

National Language is equivalent to Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level. Therefore, students are exempted from taking National Language A provided that they have obtained a credit (minimum 6C) in Bahasa Malaysia at the SPM level or a minimum pass of Grade E at STPM

level or pass in Bahasa Malaysia from any other institute of higher learning which is recognized by the Government.

Students with credit in Bahasa Melayu GCE O-level or UEC level cannot be considered for exemption.

To apply for exemption, students are required to obtain an advance standing form from the Student Services, get the coordinator's

signature and attach the following documents:

a)   An original copy of the SPM transcript.
b)   A photocopy of the transcript certified by the former college / university.

 

Please submit your application to the Student Services Department .

 

Other MOHE subjects

Students who have completed the MOHE Compulsory Subjects at any other institute of higher learning which is recognized by the government can apply for exemption. The minimum passing marks for exemption is 50%.

To apply for exemption, students are required to obtain an advance standing form from the Student Services, get the coordinators

signature and attach the following documents:

a)   An original copy of the transcript.
b)   A photocopy of the transcript certified by the former college / university.
