At Curtin Sarawak, we work as a voluntary team to help ensure the safety and health of the university community. We also train students and staff in first aid and safety, and help enhance their readiness in case of emergencies or disaster. In cases of emergencies on campus, members of the VAD-57 rescue team will assist the campus Health Officer and Security personnel.
In addition, VAD-57 provides first aid services for events at Curtin Sarawak. It also organises community service, training and fund-raising events in support of those in need, besides actively participating in Malaysian Red Crescent Miri Chapter activities.
