Information relating to the management at Curtin’s physical facilities and assets, including campus buildings, gardens and walkways, supply of consumables, mail and courier services, campus maps, parking and public transport and safety and security.

 

Second Level Groupings

Assets

  • Information relating to the acquisition, installation, maintenance and disposal of equipment, plant, furniture and vehicle fleets.
  • Buildings
  • Information relating to the design, construction, inspection, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of the campus buildings.  Includes capital projects and minor works, cleaning, fire detection and suppression, interior design and office relocations across and between campuses.
  • Campus Infrastructure
  • Information relating to the design, provision and maintenance of roads, car parks, walkways, gardens, grounds and associated directional signage, as well as the supply of power, water, gas and communications to buildings and other facilities.
  • Campus Maps
  • Information relating to the publication of maps, other geographic information for all Curtin campuses.
  • Consumables
  • Information relating to the supply of consumable items such as lab supplies, stationery, cleaning products, catering, kitchen supplies, bottled water and fuel.
  • Mail and Couriers
  • Information relating to providing a safe and secure campus environment for staff, students and visitors and the protection of property from damage, destruction or theft.  Includes emergency response, building access control, hazard reporting, ergonomics and occupational health and safety.
  • Parking & Public Transport
  • Information relating to the provision of parking spaces and public transport services to allow people to visit and commute to Curtin campuses.  Includes parking and traffic infringements.  Transport bus services, taxi ranks, bicycle parking and the production of travel guides.
  • Safety & Security
  • Information relating to providing a safe and secure campus environment for staff, students and visitors and the protection of property from damage, destruction or theft.  Includes emergency response, building access control, hazard reporting, ergonomics and occupational health and safety.
  • Space Allocation
  • Information relating to the allocation or booking of spaces such as meeting rooms, office space, and learning places such as lecture theatres. Discussion and seminar rooms and laboratories.  Includes space utilization and optimisation studies.
