Community Relations

 

Information relating to Curtin’s relationships with the wider community, including raising and maintaining Curtin’s public profile, providing consultancy services, partnerships with other organisations and alumni relations

 

Second Level Groupings

  • Alumni
    • Information relating to the creation of lifelong partnerships with Curtin graduates through chapter networks, career assistance, mentoring, discounts and social events and activities.  Includes the solicitation of donations and bequests from former students.
  • Consultancy
    • Information relating to the provision of fee paying consultancy services to other organisations such as government agencies and commercial entities.
  • Public Profile
    • Information relating to raising Curtin’s profile in the community and strategic marketing of the organisation through such methods as advertising, sponsorship, promotions and media relations.  Includes e-news, speeches, functions, celebration, ceremonies, branding, reputational issues, public reaction and the honouring of community members.
  • Partnership
    • Information relating to the development of mutuality beneficial relationships with other organisations both locally and internationally.  Includes joint venture and alliances with other universities, government agencies, commercial entities and community groups.  Partnerships that are related to specific research projects should classified under Cooperative Research.
