Campus Life

 

Information relating to campus life at Curtin, including counselling and medical services, leisure and culture and retail and professional services, safety and security and social justice and equity.

 

Second Level Groupings

  • Campus Maps
    • Information relating to the publication of maps other geographic information for all Curtin campuses
  • Counselling Services
    • Information relating to the provision of counselling, consultation and short-term therapy services to staff and students for issues such as mental health, assault, crisis, trauma, interpersonal conflict, physical disability and substance abuse.  Includes services provided under the employee assistance program, the multi-faith officer and access to external help resources.
  • Leisure & Culture
    • Information relating to social, cultural and recreational activities and events at Curtin such as fitness and sports programs, galleries, exhibitions, theatre and music performances.  Includes Student Council’s events, interdepartmental challenge, John Curtin weekend, and healthy lifestyle program.
  • Medical Services
    • Information relating to the provision of medical services to staff and students such as general medical, physiotherapy and optometry.
  • Retails & Professional Services
    • Information relating to the provision of retail and professional services on campus by Curtin, the Student Council or external parties.  Includes services such as bookshops, printing, graphic design, computer shops, gift shops, hair dressers, banks, vending machines, taverns, cafes and other food outlets.
  • Safety & Security
    • Information relating to providing a safe and secure campus environment for staff, students and visitors and the protection of property from damage, destruction or theft.  Includes emergency response, building access control, hazard reporting, ergonomics and occupational health and safety.
  • Social Justice & Equity
    • Information relating to the provision of the just and equitable campus environment that is free from discrimination, harassment and bullying.  Includes Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and the promotion of culture, sexuality and gender diversity.
