Script Database
Script Database is an Information Management system within Office of Research & Development at Bentley.
Script is currently used to manage Curtin's Consulting and Publication activities and reports on Research Grant activity.
Access to SCRIPT Database
Script Database is available only to authorised Curtin staff members and students.
To gain access to SCRIPT, complete the form at: http://research.curtin.edu.au/local/docs/global/SCRIPT_Application_Form.pdf and submit to R&D Office. You will receive the password by email from Bentley.
VPN client software is required to run the SCRIPT. The ICT staff will install VPN in your PC.
Uploading Publications on SCRIPT Database
• Staff should upload their publications on the SCRIPT database.
• A quick reference guide is available at: http://research.curtin.edu.au/guides/script.cfm#traininguides
• Upload the publication data on SCRIPT soon after the publication details are known.
• For publications with multiple authors, it is sufficient if one of the authors uploads the details.
• Activate VPN first and then connect to https://script.curtin.edu.au/logon.aspx. Use Novell account password to activate VPN and not the SCRIPT password.
• Upload the publication details and also a soft copy of the publication at eSpace.
• SCRIPT uploads very slowly and patience is required here.
Follow Up to Uploading Publications on SCRIPT Database
• Hardcopy evidence is required to be sent to Bentley for verification and approval of the uploaded data.
Therefore, after uploading on SCRIPT send two hardcopies of the following evidence to R&D Office.
1. Publication with the Publication Number written on the top right hand corner
2. Conference/Journal/Book/Book chapter details
3. Proof of refereeing, etc.
