Aim
The aim of the incentive is to facilitate attaining the university R&D strategic plan objective of Building Research Capacity.

Conditions for the award
Applicant should be a full-time confirmed academic staff of Curtin Sarawak.
Applicant should be currently enrolled in a higher degree by research programme. The enrollment should have the approval of the School and the Human Resources Department. The candidacy proposal should have been approved by the enrolling institution.
The incentive will be placed in a cost centre at Curtin Sarawak, which the awardee can use only for academic purposes with due approval from the R&D Department.
The incentive amount is returnable if the awardee does not complete the degree.
The incentive amount is returnable if the awardee leaves Curtin Sarawak before completing the degree.

he incentive amount is returnable if the awardee violates any contract agreement in relation to enrolment in Higher Degree by Research programme.
