• Aim

The aim of the incentive is to facilitate attaining the university R&D strategic plan objective of Building Research Capacity.

Conditions for the award

• Applicant should be a full-time confirmed academic staff of Curtin Sarawak.

• Applicant should be currently enrolled in a higher degree by research programme. The enrollment should have the approval of the School and the Human Resources Department. The candidacy proposal should have been approved by the enrolling institution.

• The incentive will be placed in a cost centre at Curtin Sarawak, which the awardee can use only for academic purposes with due approval from the R&D Department.

The incentive amount is returnable if the awardee does not complete the degree.

• The incentive amount is returnable if the awardee leaves Curtin Sarawak before completing the degree.

• The incentive amount is returnable if the awardee violates any contract agreement in relation to enrolment in Higher Degree by Research programme.
