Terms of Reference of Research and Development Committee

Preamble

The Curtin Sarawak Malaysia Research and Development Committee (CSM R&D Committee) will be responsible to and report to the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Curtin Sarawak, Malaysia.

Terms of Reference

1. To act as an advisory body in the development and review of Curtin Sarawak Malaysia's R&D Strategic Plan, and through this to aim at enhancing the national and international competitiveness of Research and Development at Curtin Sarawak Malaysia, within the context of the University Strategic Plan.

   
   

2. To promote and oversee the development and implementation of Curtin Sarawak Malaysia's R&D Strategic Plan.

   
   

3. To review the guidelines and policies for Research and Development activities within Curtin Sarawak Malaysia.

   
   

4. To promote and encourage individual and collaborative Research and Development activities amongst staff of Curtin Sarawak Malaysia.

   
   

5. To promote and encourage collaborative Research and Development activities involving researchers in Curtin Sarawak Malaysia and Curtin Australia.

   
   

6. To act as a channel of communication between Curtin Sarawak Malaysia and the Research and Development Committee of Curtin University of Technology, Perth.

   
   

7. To consider any other relevant item that is referred to the Committee.

    4. R&D Coordinator of School of Foundation & Continuing Studies
    5. R&D Coordinator of The Learning Centre
    6. Graduate Studies Coordinator
    7. Nominee from the School Deans and Manager of Consultancy Services
