F.A.Q. = Frequently Asked Questions

1. If I plan to have my industrial training at the end of the year, can I register now and have my training at the end of the year?

Yes, you can.

2. About the training area, since I am an XYZ engineer, am I restricted to the field stated?

The list of training area is not meant to be comprehensive but is a guide. For details, you can refer to your adviser. We only want to be assured that you are working in your engineering area.

3. About the visiting adviser, are you going to inform us before your visit or will it be like a "surprise"?

We will inform prior to visit. Therefore, make sure contact details are correct.

4. What if I don't like my placement and want to switch jobs?

Yes, you can switch jobs. On ONE condition, that your new placement is approved and registered. Note that we discourage students from 'switching for fun'. You should treat your industrial placement as a professional engineer.
